Bamboo/Natural Shades
Like the fabric shades above the natural shades give a similar look but instead use natural plant materials like bamboo and grasses. Natural shades come in 3 different styles: Flat Roman Shade, Soft Roman Shade, and Stack Down Shade.
This classic Flat Roman Natural Shade is tailored and simple in design. The shade hangs flat when lowered, and folds neatly in 5" to 9" folds when raised. Softer fabrics have smaller folds, and bulkier fabrics have larger folds.
The draw cord is concealed behind the shade for a clean appearance. However, for inside mount applications, this can make the cords difficult to reach. A style with more accessible cords such as the Flat Natural Roman Shade with Valance is another option.

The Flat Roman Shade with Valance is clean-lined, tailored, and simple in design. This shade hangs flat when lowered and folds neatly in 5" to 9" folds when raised. The cords fall in front of the shade.
*Stack Down Natural Shade
The Top Down Shade is designed for those who want privacy and a view at the same time. This unique shade operates in reverse, lifting from tidy folds at the bottom to close at the top under the valance.
When the shade is fully lowered, the stack covers about 3"-13" of the bottom of the window, depending on the height of the shade and the fabric used. A short shade in a light grass fabric might only cover 3", but a high shade in a bamboo fabric will cover a lot more.
Guide cords are visible when the shade is lowered. The shade is attached at the front of the sill rail (bottom of the shade) and pulls up neatly underneath the valance. The lifting system is completely concealed by the valance.
Flat Natural Roman Shades (Inside Mount)
The Sof t Natural Roman Shade has decorative folds in the lowered position. This option is only available in certain natural fabrics.
This unique style combines a classic Roman shade in natural woven fabric and a roll shade in privacy fabric, mounted on the same headrail. Each shade operates independently.
The DuoShade is a great solution when both blackout and sheer treatments are desired. Having the natural fabric and the solar fabric as separate shades allows the consumer to display the natural beauty and light filtering quality of the woven wood most of the time, and then lower the rear roller shade whenever full privacy or light control is needed.
Because there are two shades with separate lifting systems, a larger headrail is required. If the shade is an inside mount, make sure the window frame is deep enough to accommodate it.

The standard shade configuration is unlined as shown above. Most patterns gently filter light.
Privacy Liner
Lining is expertly sewn to the back-side of the shade. This provides full privacy and a uniform light color facing the street.
Blackout Liner
Blackout lining is expertly sewn to the backside of the shade. This blocks all light coming through the material.
Duo Shade
A roller shade behind the Natural Roman Shade is available in privacy (shown) or blackout fabrics. Makes any shade private as you wish - perfect to pull down at night.
Optional Edge Binding
All Natural Woven Shade styles are available with edge binding. This great detail is popular with interior designers because of the perfect finishing touch it adds to the window. The binding, which is 1¾" wide, is expertly sewn on the edges. Available on most patterns except those too thick to bind. Note that this is a casual treatment and there will be some puckering and waviness to the binding.
